Holiday Club
Little Stars Holiday Club is running at Oulton First School again over the October half term. Booking forms have been sent out should you wish to take advantage of this provision.
World Mental Health Day
We had a lovely day yesterday for Mental Health Awareness Day, and all looked amazing in yellow!
Harvest
Thank you to all those who donated and to all those who came to our service in church this morning. It is lovely to see so many parents and carers and it really does make this a special service.
School Discos
A reminder that discos will take place for Nursery, Reception and Year 1 on Monday 21st October, and for years 2, 3 and 4 on Tuesday 22nd October. Both discos will begin at 4.30pm and finish at 6pm.
Half term
We break for half term at the end of Friday 25th October. Please note that Monday 4th November is a Staff Development Day and the school is closed to children on that day. School opens to children after the half term break on Tuesday 5th November.
Parents Evenings
These will take place in the first week back after half term on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th November. Appointment forms, and more details, will be sent home at the end of next week
Open Evening
We are holding an open evening next Thursday 17th October for anyone considering bringing their child to our Nursery or Reception Class next year.
This will be an informal evening with a chance to look at our Early Years provision and ask staff, or myself, any questions you may have. The evening will run from 5pm to 7pm.
Family Worships
In next week’s family worship (18th October) we will draw the colours for each class for the PTA Christmas hamper raffle.
There will be no family worship on Friday 25th October.
