Little Dormouse Class is home to our youngest learners, a wonderful class for children aged between 3+4 years old. In this nurturing early years environment, children take their first steps into school life, exploring, playing, and growing with confidence. This is a space where every child is supported to develop their independance, imagination and love of learning from the very beginning.

Below is the link to our Long term plan that shows all the exciting things we will be covering throughout the year. Communication and language and exposure to a rich vocabulary run through all of our topics, so we have embedded a range of rich texts that are used to support teaching throughout all areas of learning.

 

At the start of every term a parent workshop drop-in session is held to offer an opportunity to speak to staff in detail about the curriculum and key vocabulary for that term or to ask any questions you may have about how things are taught in early years.
