Payments Open
Payments are now open for toast and milk for the next half term and will close on Sunday 18th February. Payments will not be reopened after this date.
Payments are also now open for the Mother’s Day Breakfast and the discos, and also for the Squirrels and Badgers STEM day.
Clubs
Teacher led clubs will start again in the week commencing 26th February. The teachers will introduce the clubs in worship on Tuesday 20th February and booking will open that evening.
Wraparound Care
A big thank you to all of those booking in advance. This is an enormous help in planning the provision.
Parents’ Evening
Parents’ evenings will take place on the Tuesday and Wednesday of the first week back after the half term break.
Key Stage 1 Performance
We have moved the Key Stage 1 performance from Easter to the summer term. The performances from Squirrels and Badgers will now take place on the afternoon of 25th June and the evening of 26th June. The Key Stage 2 summer performances are unaffected and will go ahead on the planned dates in July.
Mrs Hewitt Returns
Mrs Hewitt will return from her maternity leave after the half term break. She will come back for a few individual days before starting back full time from Monday 11th March.
I’m delighted to say that Mrs Edge has agreed to stay with us for the summer term and will remain Deer Class teacher to the end of this school year. Mrs Hewitt will provide cover in the Deer Class, as well as other classes, and help provide support to individual children as needed, before resuming her position with her own class from September 2024.
Emails
A polite reminder that whilst all of our teachers are happy to receive emails outside of normal school hours, there is no requirement at all that they respond outside of those hours or during school holiday periods. Responses may well not be received, therefore, until the next school day.
Half Term
School opens again for the second half of the spring term on Monday 19th February at 8.45am.
Safeguarding
From time to time we get passed information relating to courses or workshops which are aimed at parents, grandparents and carers. Below are links to two short safeguarding information sessions on Childline and Online Safety for those who are interested.
