Transition Days
Monday and Tuesday are our transition days. Our Year 4s will visit their new schools on these days and all of the other classes in school will spend them in their new classrooms with their new teachers. Please bring your children to, and pick them up from, their current class on Monday morning.
On Tuesday 27th please drop your child off at, and pick them up from, their new classroom.
Family Summer Tea Party
On Friday 30th we are holding a Family Tea Party. Please come and join us for teas, coffees, cakes and biscuits. We will open the school gates from 1.45pm to 2pm (if you are later than this time please go to the school office) for you to collect your child and join us in (and hopefully outside of) the nursery building. Once you have enjoyed the refreshments and the sunshine you will be free to take your child home.
There will be no family worship on Friday 30th June.
Sports Day
For Sports Day this year we are going to split the Year 1 to Year 4 classes into 4 separate teams (red, green, yellow and blue). On sportsday we would like each child to wear a tee-shirt / top to match their team’s colour. Please don’t buy anything specifically. We will have a few items in school.
This is simply to encourage the children to cheer for other members of their team from throughout the school and to make the whole experience more colourful.
Your child’s class teacher will let you know which colour team your child is in before the end of next week, and full details of sports day arrangements will appear in next week’s newsletter.
Dougie Mac
A big thank you to all those who have raised money for the Dougie Mac Hospice.
Regards,
Mr J Gordon
