Weekly Newsletter

Let your light shine through family, friendship and faith
“Enabling our whole school community to flourish and let their light shine, preparing them for their role as gentle and humble agents for change in the world we share.”
After School Sport with ASM
After school clubs with ASM have now started. They are running football on Tuesdays and multi-sports on Thursdays. Please book on via their website.
Parking Near the Milk Barn
Please take great care if you are parking anywhere near the entrance to The Milk Barn at drop-off or pick up times. Access is needed at all times for farming and delivery vehicles, both of which can be very large. It is important that the entrance is not blocked or access impeded, potentially leading to blockages and hold-ups on the road.
Thank you very much for your co-operation.
Snacks
Please make sure your Dolce account is topped up if your child is choosing toast for their morning snack.
Emails
Teachers are not required to send out regular emails. Some may well do so occasionally or if there is something specific or a late change they need to communicate. The main form of communication will be this newsletter. I am always happy to accept feedback and suggestions in respect of the newsletter. Please just let myself, or the office, know if you feel that anything additional needs to be included.
Morning Drop off
Morning drop-off at the classroom door is great time to pass on a message to the class teacher or to ask a quick question. It is important that anything requiring a longer discussion, particularly if it is of a challenging nature is dealt with separately at a different time. All teachers, as well as myself, are happy to arrange a meeting at a mutually convenient time to discuss any matter with you.
The morning in particular is obviously the start of the children’s school day. We have some children who find it daunting, particularly so early in the school year, to come into the classroom when it is so busy and often there are several grown-ups near their classroom entrance. Please bear this in mind at morning drop off.
All of the children deserve the best possible start to their day and to see us all modelling the kindness and respect that we expect of them everyday.
Thank you for your understanding.
Autumn Fayre
Our Autumn Fayre takes place tomorrow from 12noon to 4pm. Hopefully the rain will stay away and the sun will come out. Please come along and join in the fun!
Regards,
Mr J Gordon
