Welcome Back!
Welcome back after the Easter break. We hope that you have had a lovely Easter and managed to enjoy some of the sunshine.
Tomorrow
Tomorrow is a Staff Development Day, and the school will be closed to children. We will open again on Tuesday morning after the Bank Holiday weekend.
Sports Day next Friday
It’s currently looking very promising for sports day to go ahead at the first time of asking next Friday (9th May). We are asking the children to come in that day in their PE kit but wearing something in their team colours. The class teachers have advised the children of which colour they are. If you are unsure please ask your child’s class teacher.
Dormice and Reception Sports Day will take a slightly different format this year and will start at 10am on the field. Key Stages 1 and 2 will have their sports day in the afternoon, starting at 1.30pm. We anticipate being finished by approximately 3pm.
There will be no family worship on Friday 9th May.
Thursday 8th May
Several of our staff will be attending the funeral of Derek Gill on Thursday. In order to ensure school can remain open staffing will be rearranged in the middle part of the day to cover the period of the funeral. Beginning and end of day routines will remain unchanged.
VE Day Lunch
To help celebrate the anniversary of VE Day a special VE Day packed lunch will be available on Thursday. The options have been loaded onto school grid.
