Changes to After School Provision
From Monday 6th January our After School Club will run until 6pm with an additional £1.50 charged for children stopping beyond 5.45pm. The additional £10 late charge will remain in place for children collected after 6pm. It is important that children are collected on time. Staff are only contracted to 6pm and, more importantly, have often got their own childcare arrangements which they need to adhere to.
For the last year or so we have allowed children with siblings in other schools to attend the After School Club briefly with no charge to help at pick up times. This has now grown to over a third of the children using the club immediately after school and necessitates another member of staff. Unfortunately, from Monday 6th January we have had to make the decision to discontinue this practice. Therefore, from the new year the first hour charge of £5 will be applied for all children entering the club immediately after hometime. The pricing structure from 6th January is:

Mrs Barlow
Mrs Barlow left school to begin her retirement today. We wish her all the very best and hope that she won’t leave it too long before coming back to see us.
Maternity Leave
Miss Soanes and Miss Gill left today to begin their maternity leave. We wish them well at this very exciting time and look forward to seeing them in the new year and meeting their new arrivals.
Theatre
Years 1-4 enjoyed a fantastic performance of The 3 Musketeers on Wednesday. Our Early Years children enjoyed a morning of activities back at school. A great time was had by all.
Christingle Service
We had a lovely Christingle Service in Church this morning. It was lovely to see so many of you there. The children have brought their Christingles home tonight.
Break for Christmas
We break now for Christmas and school will reopen at 8.45am on Monday 6th January 2025. Learning starts at 8.55am.
