On Friday 2nd October, Radio Stoke attended our family worship. The theme was “Giving at Harvest Time.” William Morris, from “The House of Bread” came to talk to the parents and children about the work carried out by this organisation. Food is donated and cooked for the homeless and families in need. Will spoke to the children about the importance of saying thank you for our food, and also, at harvest time, the importance of helping others. Radio Stoke interviewed some children about what Harvest meant to them and a good time was had by all. We had a tremendous response from the children and parents, who gave generously to this cause, enabling many people to have warm food as the colder evenings approach.
